Heceta Head Lightstation is celebrating the 21st year of their Annual Victorian Christmas Open House on December 10th & 11th and 17th & 18th from 4 to 7 pm. Come See Our New Lights! 2000 LEDs will cast a warm welcoming light on our beautiful rugged coast.

Volunteers have decorated the Queen Anne style Keeper’s House inside and out with festive Victorian holiday decorations. Open house sponsors Florence Area Rotary Club, OverLeaf Lodge and Spa, Yachats Chambers of Commerce and Yachats Presbyterian Church will be providing warm drinks and treats. Each evening local performers will share your holiday favorites. Ron Stanley, Polka Dots, and Marty Adams, are some of the talented musicians who will be performing at the historic Keeper’s House. Santa will be stopping by to hand out candy canes and receive Christmas lists from children of all ages.

Visitors will be encouraged to take a night time walk to the lighthouse, so bring a flashlight! This is a great opportunity to watch the lighthouse beams rotate overhead, truly a magical experience.

Entry to the Keeper’s House is free but donations are gladly accepted. Parking is available at the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic View Point, just below the Keeper’s House, and a shuttle bus will take visitors from the park right to the front door. Or bring warm, rainproof clothing and a flashlight so you can enjoy the beautiful walk up from the beach to the festivities. Parking at the viewpoint is $5.00 per vehicle.

You can support the open house and have a chance to stay at the B&B. Enter our holiday raffle and win a free night’s stay at the Bed & Breakfast as well as great prizes from local artists and businesses. The Lighthouse Gift Shop will be open and filled with special lighthouse gifts for your Christmas shopping.

Help us celebrate 21 years of community tradition at the Keeper’s House. If you would like more information please contact the Heceta Lighthouse B&B at (866) 547-3696.
