New York’s historic Rondout waterfront is the place to be this Labor Day weekend. The Hudson River Maritime Museum will be offering Rondout Lighthouse tours Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Tours begin at noon and run every 45 minutes, with the last tour at 3:45 p.m. Tours are limited to six people per tour. Ticket price includes Hudson River Maritime Museum admission. Tickets will be available on the day of the tour on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy your ride out to the lighthouse with historic narration and a guided tour of the lighthouse.

Candace was the US Lighthouse Society historian from 2016 until she passed away in August 2018. For 30 years, her work involved lighthouse history. She worked with the National Park Service and the Council of American Maritime Museums. She was a noted author and was considered the most knowledgable person on lighthouse information at the National Archives.
