The Mariners’ Museum and Park, home to the United States Lighthouse Society’s Wayne Wheeler Library, is pleased to present author Shona Riddell’s lecture, “Guiding Lights: The Extraordinary Lives of Lighthouse Women.”
Shona will take you on a fascinating journey to some of the world’s most remote lighthouses, as well as to some not so far away, and share inspiring stories of lighthouse women through the ages. This free virtual lecture is on Thursday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m.

U.S. Lighthouse Society Historian Jeremy D’Entremont is the author of 24 books and hundreds of articles on lighthouses and maritime history. He is a past president of the American Lighthouse Foundation and founder of Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses, and he has lectured and narrated cruises throughout the Northeast and in other regions.
