We invite you to take part in a celebration of our love for lighthouses: our second annual Lighthouse Dance Off! This year, we’re opening the contest to lighthouses around the world. Dancing ability is not required. Enthusiasm and creativity are more important. It’s an opportunity to show your lighthouse spirit and to have some fun!
To enter, use the original song Meet Me at the Lighthouse, written and performed by Joe Rivers. You can access the song on Bandcamp. You can listen to it once before downloading it. Here is the link: joerivers.bandcamp.com/track/meet-me-at-the-lighthouse
We ask that you take video of your dance and send it to jeremy@uslhs.org. You can use a camera or a cell phone. If you use a cell phone, please film the dance in landscape mode (horizontal).
The deadline for submission is August 25 by midnight. Please send your video to jeremy@uslhs.org. If you need help sending a large file, let us know.
We will be awarding prizes for the best dance videos. First prize is $250. We will also be awarding a special scholarship prize of $250 for the best video featuring children 15 or under.
Please spread the word to your friends in the lighthouse world. Get out there and dance!
