Below are some of the locations in this year’s event: |
Heceta Head Lighthouse – Oregon Imagine a night at Heceta Head. The Queen Anne style keeper’s house is perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the beach below. It’s an interpretive center by day and a Bed and Breakfast by night. |
New Dungeness Lighthouse – WA Located at the tip of the nearly 5 1/2-mile-long Dungeness Spit and within Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, the nation’s longest natural saltwater sand spit softens the rough sea waves to form a quiet bay and harbor with sand and gravel beaches and tidal flats. |
Saugerties Lighthouse B&B, New York Step back in time and get a taste of life as a turn-of-the-century lighthouse keeper. Restored to its former glory, the Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast is a unique place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Hudson River Valley. Popular summertime activities include fishing, picnicking, bird-watching, photography, and relaxing by the riverside. |
