Lighthouse Tour Spotlight : April 11-26, 2022 – Texas & The Yucatan Peninsula

After many postponements, date changes, and disappointments, this tour is now set and primed to provide you with an exciting and unique lighthouse experience. Space is available on this tour for anyone interested in heading out to see a Texas longhorn and taking a walk in the footsteps of the Mayans.

Bolivar Point Lighthouse

We will be starting in San Antonio with our stay on the Riverwalk and a must-have experience at the Alamo. We will be going from there to Brownsville via the King Ranch, then up the Texas Gulf Coast to Houston, stopping at all of the Texas lighthouses that are still standing.

San Antonio Riverwalk

We will then board a plane for Merida, Mexico, to see Mayan ruins and as many lighthouses on the Yucatan Peninsula as we can. We have added one full day to the original tour in order to add Fara El Palmer (Punta Palmas) lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Mexico, which is only accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicle or by boat. The tour ends in Cancun with the farewell dinner on April 25.

Sisal Lighthouse – Mexico

Join us on this tour for some incredible food, sensational beaches, quaint towns and historical ruins — not to mention lighthouses. This is sure be an amazing adventure. Along the way we will have some Texas BBQ, and Mexican tacos. We will see some fantastic country side and incredible beaches and those beaches just might have a lighthouse or two on them.
