The 1871 Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is the last of five lighthouses that once stood on Rhode Island’s Providence River. It’s been beautifully restored by the Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse, a chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation.
Now you can take a self-guided tour of the historic building. Knowledgeable docents will also be available to answer any questions you may have and tell you a story or two. To get to the lighthouse, you will take a 30-minute boat ride to the island.
