Join USLHS historian Jeremy D’Entremont and Executive Director Jeff Gales for a special virtual preview of the upcoming Long Island, New York, tour that will be taking place May 13 to 20, 2023.
Many people think Long Island is simply a suburb of New York City, but it’s actually a fascinating destination all its own. Join us and enjoy some glamorous history and phenomenal scenic landscapes while we visit lighthouses and some excellent maritime museums. The tour will also include the National Lighthouse Museum on Staten Island and South Street Seaport in Manhattan. Also taking part in this special Zoom event will be Long Island lighthouse expert and author Bob Muller.
The event will be presented via Zoom. Admission is free but advance registration is required.
